- Calle Carlberg and the PEUGEOT 208 Rally4 take overall victory at the Rallye Baie des Chaleurs, counting for both the FIA NACAM Championship and the Canadian Championship.

- His teammate Mikael Arsenault finishes 2nd overall and first among Canadian drivers.

- A one-two finish in North America, 12 years after Peugeot's victory at Pikes Peak.

Already impressive during his participation with the PEUGEOT 208 Rally4 TEAM FJ – PEUGEOT Sport in the American Rally Association (ARA) Championship, with a victory and a top 5 overall at the 100 Acre Wood Rally, young Calle Carlberg has claimed his first career overall win.

Co-driven by his father, Torbjörn Carlberg, they delivered a historic performance, as a 2-Wheel Drive car had not won in the Canadian Championship since the 1980s. They also secured victory in the Continental round of the FIA NACAM Rally Championship.

“I’m very happy to have competed in this wonderful rally. The stages were very technical and the atmosphere was simply incredible.” Carlberg stated: “It was a great experience and I want to thank Stellantis Motorsport for the opportunity. I hope to come back with Team FJ – Peugeot Sport and also see more European drivers give it a try. Rallying in North America is truly an amazing experience!”

Local driver Mikael Arsenault, teamed with Layla Zigby, dominated the Canadian competition to secure 2nd place overall, delivering a historic one-two finish in North America for Team FJ – Peugeot Sport.

Thanks to this outstanding result, they strengthened their lead in the Canadian 2-Wheel Drive Championship.

“I’m proud to have contributed to this incredible result, 40 years after the last 2WD podium in the Canadian Championship,” said the driver from Gaspésie. “We were well prepared – the car was perfect, and so was the team. This is a big step in the fight for the 2WD title.”

The third PEUGEOT 208 Rally4 entered by the team also made it to the finish without any issues.

New to gravel and Canadian rallying this season, Maxime Galpin finished in a strong 12th place, having posted several top 10 stage times.

These excellent results mark a strong start for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America, which will launch in 2026 within both the American (ARA) and Canadian (CRC) Rally Championships, featuring the PEUGEOT 208 Rally4.
